Green & Clean Campus

Green Campus aims to make environmental awareness and action an intrinsic part of the life and ethos of our institute. Mukand Group endeavors to extend learning beyond the lecture room to develop responsible attitudes and commitment to the environment, both at home and in the wider community. We contribute in the following ways in Green Campus - Clean Campus initiative.

Solar Power

Solar Power Plant
Mukand Group has commissioned 668.5 KWp Solar Power Plants (180 KWp at JMIT, Radaur, 55 KWp at JMIETI, Radaur, 112.5 KWp at Mukand Lal Public School, Yamuna Nagar, 75 KWp at SJPP, Damla, 196 KWp at MLN College, Yamuna Nagar, 25 KWp at MLN College, Radaur and 25 KWp at VMLG (PG) College, Ghaziabad) in all institutions in total. This meet up to 20% of electricity requirements.Its advantages are:

Biogas Plant

We at Mukand Group are utilizing bio gas as cooking gas in canteen/ mess kitchens. We have installed Biogas Plants at VMLG, Ghaziabd & JMIT, Radaur and are committed to install at other institutions too. Biogas typically refers to a mixture of different gases produced by the breakdown of organic matter in the absence of oxygen. Biogas can be produced from raw materials such as agricultural waste, manure, municipal waste, plant material, sewage, green waste or food waste.

Sewage Treatment Plant

Water is an elixir of life. It plays an important role to balance the entire ecosystem. Mukand Group have total 06 (02 at JMIT, Radaur, 01 at JMIETI, Radaur, 02 at SJPP, Damla and 01 at MLN College, Yamuna Nagar) Sewage Treatment Plants (total of 750 KLD capacity) that are used for treating polluted water.Treatment of waste through industrial processes is known as sewage treatment. Basically a very simple process of removing contaminants of the water, the water is made to be fit for further usage.

Rain Water Harvesting

Water is becoming the rarest resource & need of life. Mukand group with its commitment to save water has commissioned 43 Rain Water Harvesters (10 in JMIT, Radaur, 04 in JMIETI, Radaur, 02 in MLN Sr. Sec. School, Radaur, 02 in Swaraj Public School, Radaur, 04 in SJPP, Damla, 01 in Swaraj Public School, Damla, 02 in Girls Hostel, Yamuna Nagar, 04 in MLN College Campus, Yamuna Nagar, 02 in Mukand Lal Public School, Sarojini Colony, Yamuna Nagar, 01 in Mukand Public School, Model Town, Yamuna Nagar, 01 in TIMT, Yamuna Nagar, 01 in MLN Sr. Sec.
