After the death of his father Ch. Chhabil Dass, Shri Surinder Nath took over the responsibility and assisted Mukand Pariwar in running the Educational and Social Welfare institutions at Ghaziabad, as Chairman and or General Secretary of VMLG (PG) College for Girls, Sushila Inter College, Seth Mukand Lal Inter College, Sushila Model School & Ch. Chhabil Dass Public School Ghaziabad.
