Prof. Tilak Raj Chadha

Prof. Tilak Raj Chadha- a freedom fighter returned to his profession after independence joining Mukand Lal National College in 1956 he served as Principal of the college from 1958 to 1979 and introduced many a innovations in the system of education such as open- shelf Library, Yoga for all, Blood Donation Movement, Interest Free Study Loans, separate toilets for & girls, transport & democratic functioning were some of his passions as a teacher. He helped Seth Jai Parkash & later on Seth Ashok Kumar in establishing & running Mukand institutions at Yamuna Nagar, Damla & Radaur.

TIMT, Yamuna Nagar stands in his name as a tribute to the contribution of a great teacher & freedom fighter by "Mukand Parivar".
